INDIA AND SOCIETY

India, for Indians when they hear this name, one thing flashes up
"One of the most diversified nation in the world."
This is because India has a population of over billions distributed across states within the nation's boundary.
People here have started becoming more social which is a good sign but somewhere there are still some negatives about the Indian society. This blog is just to make people understand and get aware about their country.

Being one of the developing nations in the world India has made a remarkable progress in the fields of Science and Technology, Education and Development, Infrastructural Development, Social Awareness, Sports, etc. But although it has achieved a great height in those fields there are still many ironies in India.

MENTALITY OF SAVING:

People here are hardworking but somewhere  they lack and it is fear of taking risks. Most of the Indian population is Middle Class. This is because people have been born taught about studies. Well studies are important for a person's career but if a person only concentrate on theoretical knowledge, then how can he get practical knowledge. Apart from curriculum there are many extra curricular activities where a person can excel in, but somewhere between studies and career he neglects this which might be his real talent.
Middle class people have a real bad habit of spending on unnecessary things but when it comes to something of their benefit they back off and save money there which is ultimately going somewhere they going to need to pay more.
Example: Many Indian women spend money on shopping but when it comes on health, about going to doctor for health check ups, they back off trying to save there resulting in paying more in case of medical problems.

IGNORANCE:

People have a habit of hearing but not listening. This is where the root of ignorance starts growing. People directly start making their opinions without understanding its cause, WHAT IT IS, HOW IT STARTED, WHERE IS IT GOING TO LEAD, WHY IS IT NEEDED, etc. People forget these WHYS and directly work on the basis of assumptions which most of the times lead to wrong decisions. Most of the people go with the rumours and do not make their own opinions. This is the reason that in spite of being educated people blindly accept the rumours rather than studying it first and then concluding the conditions.

AGE-EGO ISSUES:

Image result for orthodox indian parentsIndians face this a lot of time or else we can say that almost everytime especially the adolescents and teenagers. According to Indian mentality age defines experience and maturity which might be right but not all the time. There are many people who despite of being aged behave in an amateur way and many teenagers who go through the worse and by the time gain an experience of a practical life than even the aged ones. Indian parents have a lot of age ego issues when it comes to their wards thinking about working or something creative during their adulthood before 20s. If a person thinks about working part time along with studying, it is a really initiative people take to become independent at that age which I don't know why this is so but parents oppose them instead of encouraging and appreciating them.
This issue has a lot to do with the girls. we say nowadays there is a lot of empowerment given to women but do you really think this is the fact. As a girl crosses her 18, parents start looking for her marriage where her opinions are taken for granted. Here the parents want their children to be dependent, before on them and after on their husband, is this women empowerment and lessons towards liberalism?

There are also  many issues that indian society is facing, this is just to make the viewers aware that the directions through which indian society is going hypocratic and there should be a change to make a better society to live in. No matter how educated you are, unless you change your mentality there would be no development and still it will be a developing nation for years.
